The new tank was released on ST for testing purposes.
The history of this tank begins in 1939 when design projects of Panzer models with weights of 30 and 65 tons were developing. VK 65.01H was equipped with 75mm gun and Maybach HL224 engine with 600 hp. This amount of horsepower was enough to speed up the tank up to 20 km/h. The armor of the vehicle was planned to be 80mm. The first models were expected to be constructed in the middle of 1942, but later the bureau decided that vehicles with more than 30 tons of weight would be tactically useless due to inability to utilize a majority of existing axles.
